(I know they suck) I know that they are fully vaccinated to attend so I looked at my Excelsior Pass Wallet after not opening it since I probably put it on my phone. Opened the app and first thing I notice is “Expired” 10/11/21 I know I’m good but it’s funny to see Expired

I wish my company were more like that. As of my next paycheck next week, I will be getting a surcharge on my employer funded health insurance due to not being vaccinated. The surcharge is over double what my actual healthcare cost is.
So we removed the mask mandate and today a new email went out that someone tested positive in our office. They still are allowing no masks.
That seems nuts, I’d want to sue them for that.
Tell me about it. The only reason they can do it is because we are self-funded. Insurance companies themselves are not allowed to do it. I had a meeting with the Chief of HR about this and I was told “It’s for monetary reasons”. Unfortunately FL is a two party state so I didn’t try to record the conversation but that statement alone is against the regulations surrounding this because implementing surcharges or discounts for vaccinations is supposed to be based around safety and wellness, not financial motivations.
