OK so where the hell is the cruise control brain? The FSM shows it close to the ECU. I can hear it’s relay clicking on and off somewhere behind the passenger dash. I unplugged a brown harness I thought was it but the relay still clicks when I turn the cruise on and off so I’m guessing that’s not it. I tried removing the glovebox but that does not get me any closer. I guess I have to pull the dash?
What’s the trick to doing that I’ve never had to do it yet …
Well I have no clue what the FSM says but I know I pulled the control box out of the engine bay. Have you done that? The problem could lie in that box.
Just a thought. I have still have my complete cruise system if you need/want it.
I think I just found it. I was at benson’s when he pulled the ECU and I think it’s hidden behind the ECU. If that is indeed it tomorrow I’ll be able to do the diagnostics the FSM suggests and I’ll figure out what on my cruise is broken and I’ll steal what parts I need from ya
