I raced a legacy gt stock from a 10mph roll and beat him by maybe a car up to 100.

I also raced a sti with a clogged air filter and a full exhaust with no tuning…the car was running worse than a bone stock sti. We were dead even.

that gti will get rapped by any sti with any sort of tuning.

I also ran a 12 sec 300zx (woodys) and he destroyed me. It wasn’t even funny

The only way you will get that car to beat a 12 second transam is dump ATLEAST 10 grand into it.

Tyler first of all when I bought that car I had to get it reflashed because I thought it wasnt chipped… Nope put a boost gauge on it and realized that it was leaking not only from the diverted valve but the pcv as well. Maybe you should have replaced those commonly leaking parts you could have experienced a quick car now with the catless 3in dp and fuel pump with stage2plus its def far from your so called mid 14… Try morelike mid to low13 sec car. How does 5k sound for a low 11 2.0t… If you want the link for dynos and track slips on aprs new stage3 kit or how about 12 hundred for the nos kit with stock turbo putting it into the 11s as well. I can continue to go on but I’m not if anyone wants to run a 06 gti that runs mid 13s be my guess it will be on the road for a couple more days… If you want to go next spring I’ll be breaking into 12s with my Meth kit and intercooler in spring

actually i " should" beputting down 250-260 whp and 285-295 wlb… I sayshould because I have yet to duno how ever people with the same mods put those numbers down

you say 5 grand for the turbo kit… but you forget…

Drag radials $400
LSD: $1200 plus install
Axles: not sure on price…but not cheap for a VW
Clutch: prob around 1500 with install

and prob a few other things you will need to get a 3100# fwd car into the low 13’s

Newmans sti…which should be putting down over 400 AWHP (not sure on the number…help me out) ran a 13.1 or something (i know something was messed up)

But you can’t tell me that you plan to bolt on a 5 grand turbo kit and be in the 11’s.

im still skeptical, i was in a chipped b5 s4 which “should” put down the numbers you claim, and on a roll it mopped the floor with a stock 2.0, like more than 6 cars on a 30-80pull… and from a dig the 2.0 would have no chance… it sucks that i have my winter tires on, but if youre still pulling low 13s in the spring, your car would be good up against my slooow passat
