What’s this everyone has to have a passport to get across the border? When did this rule take place?

Hmm I do have 2 bald comp t/a’s left
I’m probably going to atleast go up and hang out for part of the day. If I have the touring back I’ll probably do some lapping might do the time attack.
just changed fluids, pads, tires and finally worked the boost bugs out for saturday. course layout looks really fun… as long as i dont lose it at turn 11b (note concrete wall), but from some of the videos it doesnt look as dangerous as one would think since its a slower section…
i wonder how many laps ill get on a full tank @ 1.4mi per lap…
I see krazykoncepts hasn’t been back to edit the list in the first post. Who’s definitely going?
I love TMP, I wish I had the cash to go to this. Maybe next year
haha, that wall was very intimidating my first couple laps, but sooner than you know it you’re practically dragging your mirror on it

i saw your videos, looks like you were hauling ass… anyhow ill post up pics and stuff once its all over…
i dont think they become mandatory until jan 1st 2008 (for real this time), but last time i went without one they pulled us over to the customs office for 30-45min and searched the car, and then gave us this yellow slip of paper and bitched how “a drivers license doesnt say youre a us citizen”. so meh if you have one bring it…:meh2:
By rights you should have a photo ID and your birth certificate. I’ll have a GPS, and I’ll meet anyone who wants to ride up together in the Tim Horton’s parking lot, on the entrance to the US side of the bridge at 8:45. It’s right at the edge of the bridge (like no turning back) on the right hand side. Be there by 9:00, unless you are driving separate.
Not going anymore, busy.
Voltron took second place in Super Street Power Adder drag racing. I have champagne all over me from the toast on the podium.
I lost to a 2JZ single turbo powered Corolla with a built turbo 400 and a Ford 9" rear etc. in the final. Of course they trailered it there and down the return road, plus had a crew of around 10. I drove Voltron up there, raced all day by myself, and drove home making this pretty darn satisfying for a first event.
I wish my crew could have been there. It was a great time and I really needed the help. I spent the whole day running around like a nut. Thanks JasV for helping me out. Today would have really stunk without ya.
All day I struggled driving the car. Every single launch was either violent wheel hop or a bog no matter what I did. It’s a combination of the snappyness of the way the power comes on, the overall power level for the street tires I run, and the lack of rear bias that I normally have when the DCCD interface box is working. I had to run today at full 12V lock on the center diff and the rears just kept hopping while the fronts spun.
In car video to come but for now I’m going to sleep. I wish we had out of car, but nobody came to take any…
Wish I could’ve come, congrats mike.
No video, sorry. I like this picture a little better:
There are a couple more http://s197.photobucket.com/albums/aa305/fasmust/CSCS/
I had an awesome time up there. I still can’t get over how much was going on, and how many cars there were. Oh, and it helped the fun factor that I took first place in the Super Stock AWD time attack. It’s not champagne, but it is my first real trophy.
Definately an Interesting day… 4-5 laps into the day my exhaust manifold melted a hole in my wastegate actuator hose, so i was stranded on straight 2 for 15min, before i limped off… took an hr to get the car working again. time attack was fun, awesome track, friendly people… loved the event. thanks for the rides mike, here are a few shots i took:
It is definately in the middle of nowhere.
I caught the last bit of action and saw Mikes last run. I was there with the Magnus guys. Marco ran an 8.77 at 170 mph. Kinda cool. Then we went back and ate speduch and partied. Got to drive the most ballerest 97 NSX…baller as fuck.
Was an interesting event.

No problem man, anytime. I had a ton-o-fun yesterday, especially the second half. I’ll certainly do more of their events next year.
