Should I do this when I get my new bumper (thinking it might help facilitate more air to the IC)?

I’d be removing the plate for track days etc but I see no reason to piss off the cops in NYS the rest of the time…

cut the bar out, and install a piece of aluminim angle across the top and bottom of the opening to screw the plate to

…which, to me, is ricey :wink: sorry, I just don’t like mesh. The only place I felt otherwise was on my 951 where it was protecting the oil coolers and radiator (and was tucked WAY back, nearly invisible, not a big huge prominent part).

sure. you gonna pay for my no-front-plate tickets or the increased frequency of my traffic stops because I’ve pissed off the cops?

didn’t think so. plate stays unless I’m traveling long distance out-of-state or on the track… sure it’s ugly, but my car isn’t a show car, and I don’t like attention from cops or tickets.
