hmm today i noticed that if i tighten up the dampening on full stiff the clunking basically goes away, but if i put it on full soft its loud and all there…
those are your shitty 15" tires it has nothing to do with the suspension. Get some 17s and see how stiff the ride becomes!
Not bitching… just trying to learn and make the ride quality better. Maybe I did mess up, who knows… That’s what I’m trying to figure out and that’s what these forums are for. People on this forum just think they know everything and anyone asking a question is a stupid moron.
anyways… i see that a lot of you are happy with D2s.
Out of curiosity, now that the weather’s a bit colder, do you guys hear noises in the morning from coilovers? I find that after driving the car around for a little while, the noise goes away. It sounds like the top portion of the suspension rubbing with the body due to the missing gasket (which i forgot to take from my old suspension) <- where can i get this gasket now?
The guy that sold me the car told me he has Eibach coilovers on it
I have no clue what’s on there at all, but the ride is nice and stiff, and there’s no noise. The shocks on the other hand are identifiable, as I can read the brand name off them. They are blue and say Tokico on them
That’s as far as the King of Ignorance (me :D) will adventure into figuring out something by himself

Scotty stop being such a newb and buy some rims.
Where can I get pillow mounts or Bracket Bushings or Bump Stoppers? Someone told me that’s what’s missing in my car and I need to get those from D2 to make the clunk noises go away. Custom ones will cost me about $400 and the guy said they might be cheaper from the manufacturer of the suspension.
Now I’m wondering, did you guys take anything from your stock suspension and use it on the D2s, cuz I didn’t and that’s probably why my suspension is extremely noisy and clunky!!! :x (i also threw away my old shocks cuz they were busted, so pleeeeeease don’t tell me that I needed something off the old shocks!!! )
