DAD opposes Dunnville

  1. the negative impact that the Autodrome has on the local tourism industry.

hahahaha the Autodrome IS dunnville’s tourism industry. dummies.

I can’t fucking believe this. What the fuck?

this is not something new

a small portion of the community has been fighting dunnville for years

when you drive through town you will notice a bunch of signs on peoples lawn saying, “we support the dunnville Autodrome”

As long as people don’t act the fool to and from the venue, then the Police have no ability to weigh in on the subject and it won’t become a hot spot like Cayuga. Support the local business and they will support the venue… that above all else is the biggest ace in the hole for the track.

Long post - hopefully bit motivating… Please hit page-down if you don’t want to read…

I see it similar to prohibition and bootlegging. By encouraging track use, a lot less people have excuse or reason to do that kind of s*tuff in the streets. Arguably, it could have possibly saved a few people from coming back in a body bag.

I’m usually passive - but this is one of those cases where if we don’t speak up, we’ll get stuck with another biased law/by-law that won’t make sense.

I don’t even go to that track but I can see where you guys have been going with this - let’s get petition going. Maybe find out what is required to complete the license so the track cannot be removed.

Do we have anyone here with talent that can come up with something equally cool to the bear on the Dunville site that says “conscious responsibility”? It’s sad but nowadays it’s less about common sense and more about marketing, b* and politics - who makes the most noise.

For those of you who keep saying take-it-to-the-track, if you get some petition going - I hope that many non-track people like myself will support you as well.

done

that small portion of the community will die of old age soon enough, Dave won’t have to contaminate their water.

i think it’s funny to note their “log” of dates, times, and what happened… i’m sure it’s easy to hear noise and tires squealing when you’re AT the track to take notes… maybe if they stayed at home we wouldn’t have an issue.

morons.

i guess that’s what happens when you live in a buttfuck-nowhere town - you need to find something to do.

Yeah probably older folks. I mean if you really want wilderness move to Algonquin. They live in the golden horseshoe area where there are 9 million people loads of traffic, crime, pollution and yes, noise.

Just like I told this assclown on bicycle who swore at me for idling my GTR in Yorkville for like 30 seconds (bylaw is 3mins). After I called him out - I told him that if he is concerned about pollution to get the f*ck out of the city ASAP because he huffs several pounds of toxins riding daily.

It is easy for you to make a change not change for 1000s of others.

its stupid… people dont want anyone to street race yet… you try and close all the tracks. hell whats next… car ban for people under 45? This province is going to shit. if they let tracks get closed.

its like the track in the states. people complain because there is a track right by there house… well fuck you knew that before you bought the fucking house so why you move there? so stupid.

People are so ignorant.

Its like when i talked to the O.P.P spokesperson. he said well why make a track in toronto when people can travel to wasaga to have fun.
Well because the issue is in toronto not wasaga beach. If you want toronto street racing to slow down. then build something closer. noise polution well there are ways to muffle the noise. itll never happen because they dont want it to. if they did they would ask people. i dont get it.

Like Ontario Fuels in Streetsville who sell race gas. Used to be spread out, now they built houses all around it and people complain it stinks like gas and its contaminated land…ugh yeah?!

Gee why was this house such a good deal and been sold 5 times in the last 10 yrs.

people dont learn, we are an easy target because we dont do anything about it. but lets hope for the best.

One guy actually wanted to fight a friend of mine because his turbo timer kept his car idling. Fortunately there wasl ike 5 of us, one of him, and he backed off. People are pretty hardcore about their no-pollution haha. I was pretty shocked by the whole thing, I even ended up asking the guy if he really doesn’t have anything better to do.

i had mine on i left to go in the video store i came out and i got a ticket. cause my car was on . like fuck off… its on for a minute and 30 seconds… law i think is 3 min.

Yep 3 mins.

Can you believe some of these do-gooders? I mean this guy was about to catch a beatdown if my friend didn’t intervene for what? I mean I’m no Al Gore but a care as much as a Performance Aftermarket Industry guy can. Why not go hang in front of pollution factories around here and call out the Presiedent & CEO to a fight.

City is not the place for you. Just like Dunnville with its airport is not the place for country living.
