I actually just looked it up. Apparently I was already in the “High risk” rate…? It happened in the Summer of 2003 (I was 19 which probably did not help). I just bought my Grand Am GT (Ohh a GT badge is worth the extra 850) that Spring so my insurance went up to begin with. After the wheel incident my premium went from ~3000 to ~3400. So it did wind up f’ing me. I still saved 200 bucks but WTF.

Well I called the high way Dept. they said it wasn’t theirs and it had to do with the Eire County Water Authorty. The Claims guy(Bob) said “Please do not call you insirance company. I would like two(2) estimates, as well as all the pictures of the damage, and the Police report”. They actually had a guy come out and take pictures of my current damage, and I will be getting the estimates Wed. morning.
My mechanic inspected it and said so far I will need Rear springs/struts. Nothing was damaged with front of the car except the bent rim and blown tire.
Winter car as of now. Working on picking up another 240/280z.

Shit I think they should redo all the roads in WNY. didnt they give like 200k in funds to parks. Thry have enough trees there all you need to do is clean up the garbage and trails. Money is spent in so many of the worst ways here in NY.
