I guess that majority of people don’t realize that on the internet there is a place you can look up how to adjust the odometer on every car every made… I can’t remember how it is spelled but I am pretty sure there is a couple g’s and a few o’s in the website. I bet this story was great for their ratings though. I just don’t understand going through the trouble on a 92 toyota. I have to side with krant on this one. It was a ignorant thing to do on his part. I he would have bought a 08 toyota and rolled it from 250 to 75 now he is on to something and could make some money but who cares about a 92 toyota enough to bother.

To go from 200k+ miles to under 100k miles, that’s a big jump. Especially when your average person looks for the lowest mileage on cars when they purchase. Sorry but a car from 79k to 200k, there is definitely something to look into and that would be potential problems with the car. If it was like 120k to 79, that’s different. Most cars you turn in with 200k as a trade will end up in a junk yard. 79k will be purchased and resold at a easy loan location/low cost dealers. Either way is misinforming the person of what they are purchasing and for families working off bare minimum money, they may need to purchase smart and go with the best option to hope it stays running. 200k car might turn them away if they feel it may break and make them bankrupt to purchase a next car.

Edit: still wouldn’t doubt it though either. Not because of jail either.
I believe it was posted that he did on the news channels page with people commenting on the bottom that know him personally/live across the street from him.
