How many title transfers can you do in a year until the state forces you to get a dealer plate? Rumors I’ve heard was more than 5 in a year (buy and sell combined). Anyone know for sure?
don’t know for sure but my neighbor where I used to live in MD all he would do is go to a car auction get cars and then sell them…SO he bought and sold way more then 5 a year. Because that was his only source of income lol. And he wasn’t a dealer just some random old shmo that bought cars for dirt cheap and resold them for profit.

I would think you dont need a dealer plate you would need a dealers license…
