Look it up, the pressure of not going can cause them.
me, right?
Ok. The wrench COULD have fell into your pulleys and caused engine failure.
Your wheel bearing also COULD have seized and caused damage. But your not going to call the dealership for a free oil change because your wheel bearing COULD have seized on your way home from work yesterday are you?
no you wont
why not? i already told the manager on the phone that im gonna give em back
if I left the wrench in there and it wrecked my motor=my fault. random breaing failure=most likely nobody’s fault. they leave tools in my engine bay=their fault.
either way, the manager basically told me they dont give a shit about me or my business, so it’s pretty obvious. im just gonna give em the pliers back so they can leave them in somebody elses engine
They could just say that it is your wrench. How are you going to prove them wrong?
That’s what I said.
This is why you should do the most work to your own car as possible. :smile
(Or, if you’re me and are lazy/hate to be dirty, have your significant other do it.)
i dont mind getting my hands dirty. they were black with all kinds of crud after futzin around with lines and stuff.
u got a point there. if they said it wasnt theirs, i highly doubt i’d prove anything.
:nod
are you dense? What did you expect them to do? Nothing happened to your car, but you want them to kiss your ass and give you something for free? Sounds like they took responsiblity for the pliers (which was probably just to shut you up) and apologized… what else should they do?
im not asking for anything unreasonable though, am i?
Three pages on this in less than an hour. Shit son.
g-g-get, get over it
I don’t see why they should give you anything for free, when no harm was caused. Even if it was their air headed lube tech who left the pliers there.
a free synthetic oilchange is unreasonable i think. nothing happened. its an honest mistake. its not like they forgot to put oil in it.
Am I reading this right? A complaint about free pliers?!?!?
