^^^ This is what the fuck happens when parents won’t cut the cord…
people like yourself exist.
you still drive the car your grandparents bought you? and the one they insure?
Duh
I actually sold it and bought a new car I didn’t need to show everyone on the Internet how fiscally capable I am.
youre full of shit.
Ive never gotten a car handed to me and I had to pay my parents for insurance even when I was on their policy and had to get my own when I was 21.
I WISH I could live at home again! I would be driving a ZR1 AND still pay my mom and pops rent money! Maybe I can live in their pool house, shits baller as fuck and technically not in their house. sooo its cool.
Dont think they would let me under their car insurance though. LOL
THIS.
And am I the only person who was NEVER on there parents insurance? lol Also I haven’t lived at home since I was 17.
I was on their insurance for all of a few months, the first speeding ticket I got was my warning and I paid for my family lawyer to get me out of it. 2nd one I was on my own and I became on heck of a traffic court champion if I do say so myself. Ask my brother how many tickets I got out of! ahahahahah
But I didnt move out until I was like 22-23 irc? Lived in my parents basement with my at the time GF, now wife. But I paid rent, and was pleasntly suprised that my mom put my rent money away for me (becasue I spend money like a retard) when I started building my house prior to moving out. One of the best sorta gift my parents ever gave me, back.
I wont lie my parents helped me out alot growing up, but it came with a price. It wasnt a straight up hand out. I would be broke and need to fix my car to get to school and work. My dad would fix it with me and pay for the parts… but that weekend he lined up some deck to build with him and I worked 26 hours with him and my brother one weekend in 100deg july weather… He used to fuck with me “well you made $500 this weekend, and owe me $460 for the car parts… so hers $40” and LOL at me. But in a good way.
There is a big differnce in being handed shit and being helped out of jams.
foresees lots of “cool stories”

Chris Leo is a good dude. Enjoyed hanging out with him several times and he has helped me out on more than one occasion.

Don’t blindly bash someone that ‘lives at home’, and don’t feel owed an explenation as to why they live there. I’ve ‘lived at home’ on/off since I was 22 (32 now), for many reasons, not due to lack of funds.
Carry on!
Cute starter living at home story.
time to leave the nest dudebros
