no i was both dissing me and howard at the same time idk ive heard horrible and excellent stuff from that guy i guess hes like a doctor or uaw worker better not be the first or last car, or a monday or friday car!:eek3
You guys need to stop running your mouths about shit you don’t know about.
not me, im indifferent with howard like I said I dont IDK, ive heard horror stories and good ones anout him…
When you want to push an engine to it’s limits, it’s bound to break… He’s got tons of LSx cars all over the place that make great power and haven’t had any issues. If you’re gonna drive a modified car, monitor shit when you’re driving it and you won’t blow it up.
- rep good point…:bowdown
You do realize that b/c you have so much -rep that your +rep doenst do anything right?
lol jesus
Dez racing is in Mass and Mustang Magic in in Long Island, Dez is a bit closer and they are both top notch ford shops!! Two of the best actually
:wtf not even positive rep. works with me? so im just sitting in afganistan with no ammo. huh?!:Idiots
Yeah, Ive talked with Mike from DEZ quite a bit, mad cool guy, and DEF knows what hes doing. For as good as he is the price aint too bad. When I go down this winter(hopefully) I got quoted $549 for a flipswitch install, and 2 tunes(N/A and N20). Not bad at all imo!
+1
uh oh becareful what you post, someone might call you out as a fanboi of Redline :ahh
I Wish more people thought this way.
I’m sure they did after my initial post on the first page. It’s not easy running ONE business, I cant imagine two, and in the car industry especially… stuff can happen. It’s easy to get stories twisted around.
Maybe I’m turning into a Vette guy who knows, but some of those RLMS cars are badass. Tony’s blue C6 looks/sounds nasty. Howard has a TT C6Z, that’s nuts. Cars a beast. You need to give some credit where it’s due.
+1 would make everything a lot easier
So its a good thing the guy doing the tune up work blew the cars load all over the road, would’ve been a bitch if the car held together one more day. Everyone would blame the fool driving, that he wasn’t monitoring it.
People: Re-read this. It’s the point of the story.
No idea if it’s true or not but it’s the point.
Who cares about the point lol…just another Shift thread that isn’t on topic…if it stayed on topic it wouldn’t be a Shift thread!
Welcome to the world of Internet forums.
To me this is very simple.
If the tuner broke the car, without taking the necc. precautions or if something could have been done to avoid such a break, I would not be happy. Regardless of whether or not they were willing to replace the broken part.
If all the proper tests and precautions were taken and the car still blew up, I would be upset, but I couldn’t place the whole blame on the guy tuning it.
