Go with the Detroit Locker they are much better than a spool on a street driven vehicle with radial tires. The only way a spool is driveable on the street is with non-radial tires because they allow sidewall deflection.
FYI - for all the people who are unaware and keeping humping the “posi” train the only differential available for a 9" with 35 spline axles is a Detroit Locker or Spool. To get any type of posi unit you must step down to 31 spline axles
