Diagnosing clutch problems

I have a quick question about a possible clutch problem. I was driving home from work in my 2003 tiburon and it started to act funny. When I was trying to accelerate it seemed like the car was acting like a auto trans with over drive. When I would step on it hard in 3rd and 5th, the rpm gauge would go up faster then I was actually accelerating. I popped the hood when I got home and there might be some oil leaking from around, what I am assuming, is the master clutch cylinder; Looking at the engine its over top of the drivers side front tire. There looks like there is some fresh liquid there. I plan on taking it to the hyundai dealer and having them look at it.
thanks,

the diaphram spring in the pressure plate is probably worn… time for a new clutch, pressure plate, and throwout bearing.
