I just brought my 90 240 out of storage. The motor is running great and i just put a brand new battery in it.
My problem is that driving it home tonight the dash lights and headlights kept cutting on and off and everytime i hit the brakes or signals the lights dimmed aswell.
And now nothing electrical will work unless i start the car.
So im wondering if there would be corosion on a ground or alternator wires or is the Alternator toast all together…
Any help it appreciated.
sounds like your alternator is shot… and your battery will be soon.
run a load test you’ll find out pretty quick if it is the alt.
it could also be a rotted common ground for that particular loom section that shorting on you…
