awsome. keep it up and post numbers once finished. Love the headlights too.
turbos are ghey…
cool shit, will be nice to see completed, good luck with it
Most of us were just getting to the point that turbo kits are hard to assemble wich is a related topic to the thread. There are always unforseen errors and you will get the wrong parts at times. Focusinprogress should know of as many other experiences possible with this sort of thing.
nick did alot of research before starting this project. if shipping didnt take so long, he couldve had this done in 2-3 days… yes their we’re a bunch of trips to the store to get misc. stuff… but it didnt take that much time away
whatcha got for fuel?
DIESEL
looking good, keep us updated with more pics and progress, you gotta take me for a ride when you finish it up
for fuel 42lb ford racing injectors paired with a calibrated 70mm maf from pro-m, tunning is done by me via SCT pro-racer package w/xcal2 falsher/datalogger tool
P.S. gt28r=my full 10psi by 2400rpms
no gt28rs?!?!?! come on
nice setup. once you get the write up/how to done i will clean all the crap out of this thread.
looking good nick… if you need any help, give me a shout
new pics: made up the adapter from my shorty header to turbo(keeping EGR) and made my BOV setup…
 nice to see a turbo zetec
thanx, its been a long thought-out and planned process, lets see how long the stock clutch can take the added power, im guessing about a week if that
3.5 days, because you will be WOT listening to the turbo and BOV.
work as much as possible before school starts… but since i’m on vacation all this week i’m sure ur getting quite a bit
i hate waiting on parts and i need a way to attend school next week
those are the best welds ever…
j/k, car looks like it’s coming along nicely.
nick, i couldnt do much w/ the pipes, the galvanised that was left on the first time is screwin the new welds up, plus the old welds are a diff material … i couldnt get a smooth weld over them
probably using a stick welder, unless you are really skilled they are very hard to get good looking welds out of but they will be plenty strong
BTW I hope Nickel rod was used to join the mild steel and cast iron, otherwise it will not last long
