step 3:ran the 180-degree mandrel bends on the ends
Step 4:made up the adapter from my shorty header to turbo(keeping EGR) and made my BOV tube setup…
step 5: took out oil sending unit, installed brass t fitting for oil feed and oil psi gauge, and then ran my boost guage line, oil psi line, and a/r gauge wires
step6:test fitting, installing gaskets, made ugliest downpipe EVAR, cut clearance for my oil feed into my fan assemply, and re-assembly or the front end
drives awesome right now, took a mustang 5.0 out the other night, need to get it on a dyno though so i can dial in my MAF for WOT open loop so i can put some timing back in her. i think im gonna take out my A/C this winter and make a better/bigger downpipe cause i had to make the first section of it 1 and 3/4" to clear the A/C pump, plus it will be less accessory power being taken away from the motor so its like 2 gains at once.
zeitronics WB02 = 4 loggable channels for 275 = 70 dollars / channel (a/f, boost, rpm and i forget the last option)
lc-1 wbo2 = ONLY A/F gets logged for 200 = 200 / channel (plus the price of the gauge)
get the zeitronics unit, wire it in, hook up you laptop, run down the street once and you wont have to watch anything but the road
pull back in teh driveway and you can make a DOZEN adjustments to your ecu at once, instead of just a few
laptop logging > working from memory off a gauge … and laptop logging w/o an included rmp reference is the suck … trust me, ive been using the lc-1 … fucking pain in the ass
plus kennedys dyno tune has never used the lc-1 once … ever … nd mike from Inn Tune was saying hes never had an lc-1 that has worked properly for long… so youll be in the dark if you have any problems for it
what kinda numbers have similar setups put out before? what do you expect fromall the homework i’m sure you did? and what else has been done to it other than obviously the turbo kit? lets get a complete mods list here…
other than the turbo kit its got a full magnaflow 2.25" cat-back exhaust with a 2.5" cat and flex in front of it. all else stock, equal setups make about 230-250whp and beat the early 90’s M3’s before the new motors were intro’d
