So this year im not going to be in the mood for the piggies fcuking with me about my lack of a frt plate, or having it in the windshield…
So i decided to go to the local harware store to see what could dig up…
misc. fasteners and alum. stock.
And with the help of my old man’s bandsaw and drillpress i came up with this contrapsion. Now keep in mind i dont want the plate on all the time(ie show and meets). this bolt directlly into a hole drilled out of sight, on the inside of the left foglight hole.
awwwww…look at you tom…all handy and all LOL
looks really good…nice idea
i bet ya though that you will never see a cop when you have the plate on and get caught driving to show’s and meets. looks good though
just my luck…huh. actually it is set up to install and remove in about 15seconds.
so if it comes down to it i could just R+I whenever
this is a great idea, nice job. the only thing i’d be worried about is how much it will flap around in the wind, is it pretty sturdy?
Post finished pics. Moved to DIY
ehh idk i think my plate will remain in the windshield, newmans theory of it getting you outta a speeding ticket kinda makes sense, if he gets outta the car hes most likely going to write you a ticket, and id much rather have him notice no front plate and write one for that than then something thatll put pts on my license. nice write up tho
i still have to put it in a vise and tweek it, but you get the idea…
nice
how much u pay for all that cuz i just got this off ebay.

that would work if i didnt care about drilling into the visable part of the bumper.
but i paid about $7 for the supplies
get these pics back up, sounds like a cool idea.
