DO NOT DRIVE IN MARKHAM TOMORROW OR SUNDAY!!!

mutherF*&#^$ , today around 8:00 pm i was picking up my g/f at her house near my work (sobeys) mccowan and 16th a cop pulled me over and litterly reamed me for everything even tho i didnt do nothing wrong … here are the tickets i got

  1. inproper muffler
  2. inproper tires
  3. no rear liscence plate light
  4. inproper signal device
  5. inproper seat

he didnt let me drive my car home … soo my car is now parked at sobey’s

just watch out everyone don’t get stupid tickets if your planning to go to the show dont drive your car if it isnt stock

What’s improper about your tires?
Why is your license plate light not working?
What’s with the improper signal light?

purple, what show are you talking about? iam very close to sobey’s too

DKN

Sorry that happened to you man but I can’t say that I’m surprised.

With DK happening it’ll be the same as last year. They will pull over EVERYTHING that looks even the least bit modified. I think it was two years where the police waited each day untill the show was over and stopped every car leaving the fair grounds. It was nuts.

If anyone is going either make sure your car is legal or, drive another car. That way you’ll avoid any issues with the law.

im heading over to DKN today i heard its really bad down there for police they try to ticket you for anything so were gonna be driving my dads stock sonoma down there instead of my car

If you have shit wrong with your car, why are you surprised that you got tickets?

Sorry but that makes no sense to me, thats like stabbing someone and wondering why you are getting charged.

If you don’t want to get tickets anymore, use the tickets you got as a guide… and fix your shit.

:werd:

TRUE, I agree and disagree with you…they give you fines in excess of the value of the repair then expect you to do the repairs and pay the fines…

I do agree with you but some leniancy would go a long way toward making the roads safer, ie: heres a ticket, but if you get it fixed and show it with in 30 days? the ticket will be dropped.

I mean, I work hard, and well my Daddy dosen’t have deep pockets like some other people i Know, so my problems are my problems…

I really hope that wasn’t a jab at me…

But yes I agree, lenianec goes a long way.

I know nothing about you, so no.

but if your offended, then maybe?

Nah, not my situation, people like to make assumptions though that’s all I’m saying.

you must have worked very hard to afford $60,000 worth of vehicles at only 18.

Yes, Jesse, you know me so well.

be nice guys!

I live in markham, and the cops are gay 24/7… kennedy and carleton. Got pulled over yesterday for no plates and “hollywood style exhaust”. Too bad I had temp plates huh…

Just got back from DK.

The show was’nt bad actually there were some nice cars there. I visited the JDMP booth (of course  ) and got to see Gabe’s, aka JAPANESEIMPORTS here on SON, booth too. He had a couple of nice R32 Skyline GTS-t’s and a 300zx. So over all it was a nice way to spend a couple of hours.

Now as for the fuzz, well they were out in FULL FORCE! Right at the corner of McCowan Road and Major Mackenzie, on both sides of the street, were the police. There was ghost cars, marked cars, emissions, motor cycles and even a moble command camper too. They had all kinds of cars pulled over going north and south. Hoods were popped, police were under cars, emissions officer’s doing there thing while the driver’s could only watch helplessley.

True enough we are always thankfull, or at least we should be, for what they do when we need them. Just look at Andrew’s situation as a perfect example. Those things I trully respect but these blitzes are something that I don’t like.

I feel it’s just a reason to harrass and ticket anyone with a modified car and make the tunner feel like there being labled a street racer only b/c the car is lowered or has a body kit with rims. To me that’s abusing the powers given. Yes it may be there job but this is going WAY to far and it’s not fair to those people who’s car is safe and did pass emissions to be put through this. I am almost positive that any little thing that normally the person would have been let off for, won’t be all because there’s a car show just up the street.

These things a perfect example of why most people do not respect the police and why they are bad mouthed so baddly.

I’m glad we drove there in my Father N law’s Pontiac Sunfire.

So again, just watch yourselves if your heading to DK this weekend and if you feel you may get pinched or your second guessing yourself on driving your 240, go with your gut and don’t take it.

Have a good one.

Easy 8)

thanks Dalton Mcguinty for trying to maximize revenues for the province.

little prick…

Well it is the end of the month, So the fuzz gotta get paid.

I love how they still deny that “quotas” exist.

EDIT: We should test something… someone needs to commit a non-vehicle related crime in the same relative area and see how long it takes them to respond because they are too busy with their fucked up priorities.
