Do Want!!! Rotary content inside.

I remember that video from some days of searching. that shit definitely checked the fawk out :bowdown I’d love to know who’s variant was under the hood!

HOLY FUCK :excited

Yo dawg I put a 13b on your 13b on your 13b so you can make power without pistons while making power without pistons while making power without pistons.

It may not be the beast compare to the cars we have today, but iirc the TurboII FC was at one point the fastest 0~60 Japanese car sold in NA, that is until Honda introduce the sub 6s NSX. I recall drooling over that car when I was in high school. :tongue

wAAAAAAAAATTTTT? :vlad

That’s an outright eccentric shaft nightmare right there! holy fuck.

this made me :lol. i can see you doing this –> :wierd

exactly how expensive?

More than you can afford…pal

This^^^

Reality, my estimate floats around 20K. If it seems like a big price tag you’re right, but the cost of the CNC’ed parts, dry sump setup, and EMS really add up.

20k is nothin lets do it, fundraiser

yeeeah. If that ever came about you know where to find me.

It’s just not something even the most motor nutty car enthusiast wants to do. Has to be the most financially wasteful motor to replicate on so many accounts(IMO it’s made up for by other attributes though).

yeah i agree with ya, fuck it man

there is alot of cool shit i wanna do concerning motors and vehicles, $$$$$ is coming in my life sometime sooner or later…

exactly what I wanted to know

You’re welcome.

Why were you only redlining at 9400??? I have both my 91 and 87 up around 11-12k frequently… lol. Redlining basically does not exist on rotaries… lol

The limiting factor on how fast you can spin a rotary is how fast you can get the flame front moving with complete burn It’s a huge area to get combustion across in a cycle, hence why they have twin plugs from the get go.

Rotary eccentrics spin like every other motor crank, but the actual rotors run at 1/3rd the “rpm” and have minimal 2nd order vibrations. I love how they sing to the moon so easily.
