lol I still see people who come in with StarTACs from their Mercedes and BMWs. They just won’t give that phone up. It was a hell of a phone though.

I saw some dude last month in Atlanta. I swear he was on a actual car phone. The handset that was mounted and he held it like a house phone.

I do not have a personal cell. I do have one for work but i am restricted to using it between 8am and 5pm and if the same number comes up often on the bill i get shit about it (minus my house). I dont really need another cell, as my wife has one that i take when i go somewhere.
Now at this time i am going through the cell phone thing with my 12 yr old daughter. She wants one, i dont think she needs one. But every one of her friends has one. It drives me crazy when her friends are over sitting in the living room texting each other, when they are sitting right next to each other. She turns 13 in a few months and i figure about then i will upgrade my wifes plan and maybe add her.
I could see getting her a phone if there was a need. but there honestly is not one, as my wife dosent work and i can always be gotten ahold of.
another thing one of her 12 yr old friends just got in trouble for sending/receiving pics- so that dosent thrill me.
I dont know what to do- she’s a good kid with excellent grades etc… never any trouble

don’t do it. you can’t get a phone without a camera.

little girls get cameras and give up all the common sense they ever had when they do. first myspace, then pix messaging, then they’re 14 and really wanna impress the 16 year old boy with the car and the cool rims, and she keeps sending more and more aggressive pics.

next thing you know, her pics are up on here in the NWS zone and you’ll be kicking yourself in the ass.
