i would not ever mention it myself but thats just me… this guy could have said it and then been like oh shit maybe i shouldnt have said that because now their sorta back tracking the mention of the whole martial law thing, so yeah a public mentioning of it wasnt exactly a bright idea, but maybe it was just a classic case of foot in mouth where martial law is an option available to the city in a worst case sienerio situation but they forgot to follow it up with saying it would be a last resort rather then “that would be an option if we were to go in that direction”
