Do you motorcycle guys listen to anything while riding?

well, i guess that’s not TOO much of a difference… no big deal really…

I almost always have mine in. Ipod in my pocket with headphones run under my shirt. I can skip songs through my jean pockets.

most often i have one earbud in and my ipod is wired under my jacket…i blast rise against, never have a problem hearing shit on the road

I put in “how to learn spanish” and go riding…

So far I’ve learned that piso mojado means wet floor.

almost always have my ipod on. just need to figure out how to secure my earbuds into my new lid.

lol

^unfortunately my accent sucks.

Talk about irony LOL

precisely what i was thinking lol

That’s what I was thinking too… I assume people don’t have problems running buds?

+1, my best thinking is on the bike

I got stopped by a DWI checkpoint one night at like 11pm on the bike last summer. Stopped, took the helmet and took both ear buds out and the cop never said anything. He just kind of laughed that I couldn’t hear him. Haha.

I never have it loud enough where we can’t talk at a stop light. i’d like to have some hearing when I’m 70.

I just like to hear the sound of 1000cc engine with a nice exhaust. I never tried to ride with music but I guess a lot of people do it.

i like music sometimes… and would probably prefer it i would remember to wear it more often …

ps - if you cant hear your bike over your music… sometimes wrong

I’m with fry and carnut on this one, I like being able to clear my mind and think about stuff when I’m riding. It’s a good way to relax if youre stressing or whatnot. I listen to enough music when I’m not riding anyways.

Depends on the ride. Occasionally I listen to music, other times I don’t. AFA not hearing traffic, I feel that is a moot point. The combination of engine noise and wind noise make hearing a car driving behind or next to you impossible (unless you don’t wear a helmet :bloated:) If a car sounded their horn I would hear that whether I had headphones/earplugs on or not.

lulz.

at first i never really did that as i was completely uncomfortable on my bike. once i started being able to maintain speeds that were around or above the speed limit and not 15 under, i started getting more comfortable and wearing mine when riding by myself. if i was with anyone else, i left it out because i liked yelling sweet nothings at jay and hearing him yell them back at stop lights.

i know that you’re not supposed to and it’s dangerous, but i decided that at a moderate volume it wasn’t a big deal as i couldn’t hear shit anyway through my helmet.

always Ipod in.

stop yelling…all these ***** people need to get up for work tomorrow!
