i have yet to hear a person that said they are going to use it… anyone one from the south hills wanna chime in?
most likely not. i will prob use it one time for the novelty then that will be about it.
i will probably use it on occasion.
We will all be able to teleport where we need to go by the time it is finished, so no.
I’ll prob use it
i doubt ill use it even living in the south hills
Biggest waste of taxpayer money EVER!!!
They could have extended the “T” out to Monroeville or Ross Park or the airport with all that money.
It was sold as a quick route to the STADIUMS…not that you couldn’t just walk across the bridges that were already there.
Has anyone noticed where ELSE it’s going? RIGHT TO THE FUCKING STUPID CASINO!!
I’m sure that had a LOT to do with it being built in the first place…
Side note: I hate that god damn casino.
But no, probably not.
I’m in the South Hills, but I highly doubt I’ll use it more than just to see what it’s like. Frankly, the entire North Side is like another country to me…and most people in the SH, and vice versa.
something to think about it has given alot of ppl work for past few years. As much as it coated money it also allowed ppl to put food on their plates, money to pay bills and to also put back into economy. Majority of work was performed by Pittsburgh companies.
The same ppl would have made the same money if they would have extended it out to Monroeville, etc…
A huge waste just to go from the city to the north shore.
Either way ppl made a living

Also from an entertainment view north shore was better decision then monroeville. As they are they to make it the place to be.
Have to look at it in different point of view.

yeah “EITHER WAY”… so, as usual, your point is lacking anything substantive. you are a moron. the connector was stupid as fuck and anyone limited to making a living simply working on that project can also go fuck themselves. boated needless government ventures are not the only source of work… maybe those people were happy to be doing work on something with no realistic timeline with a blank check… ? who wouldn’t… any easy way to make an easy buck… right? who cares if it bankrupts the city or that it will never return anything on the investment…? awesome.
the connector was stupid as fuck… google a clue.
North Shore? That’s like almost all the way up in Canada!
Yes, it’s good to put people to work, but like a lot of this money that is out there, once the project is done, that’s it. That money needs to be put to use creating jobs that will continue, not just create short term work. Just don’t ask me how you do that though!
- Stop wasting taxpayer money on stupid worhtless shit like this connector.
- Lower taxes on business.
- Business owners expand / new business gets created.
- Permanent jobs are created.
It’s not really rocket science…
+1.
Waste of time/money this tunnel was/is.
The North Side connector builders equipment storage warehouse or what ever is out here by me!right off the 119 mt.pleasant exit behind Mt.pleasant auto sales & below Lou’s house, they must of made enough $$ to lease ground haul in dirt Level it & put up building just of this job,I don’t think a Pittsburgh company would need to do that! so out of state company? Yes i would say!
If you actually did actual work for a living then you would know how construction works. You work as long as there are projects going on. The work being performed are indeed mostly local companies
Paying local workers to make a living
Actually, the only way we’re going to get out of this mess is to tax the fuck out of the rich.
I say that it IS close to rocket surgery. The problem is, we don’t have any rocket surgeons controlling the money.
