Funny cuz I drive a caddy and always pull up to the light real slow, people move over to get in the other lane and then I pull away the fastest and they get stuck behind someone slow and 10 minutes later fly by me.:hay: Then at the next red light it happens all over again
lol im glad to think im not the only retard that does this…
I was actually going to make a thread a long while back, but decided not to.
+1 dawn.
fucking homos.
I like to think battles are won/lost at red lights myself.
not so much cutting people off like a fucking douchebag to get 2 cars ahead. (Only to have the old grandma you just cut off fly by you because you picked the wrong lane at a light… oh so much work lost!)
I go WOT every light, no better feeling in the world than making the next light as it turns yellow and watching the sea of traffic fade away in your rear view
beyond the obvious things like one line is way shorter than the other or one is filled with trucks or something I usually don’t care. I’m usually one of the slowest anyway, get beat by minivans all the time. Its fun once in a while to take off fast but generally a waste.
this is the exact reason why I stopped taking the highway home. I would experience sooo much rage it would literally ruin my day. I still get stuck behind slow vehicles on the back roads but there is only one lane so I don’t experience as much rage as I would by people’s retarded antics on multiple lane roads.
What I found is that the right lane (slow lane) would be faster in most cases because alot of the sheep just want to cruise in the left lane to avoid merging/turning traffic. But then you would get the rare person that actually follows the traffic rules and cruises in the slow lane which actually fucks everything up. you then get the situation where 2 cars are driving slow, neither passing one another for miles, backing up traffic, with a bunch of pissed off people behind them. I’m getting pissed off just thinking about it.
This happens to me most at the amsdell light on rt 5 in the burg. I think that’s the road, across from that huge dentist office on the lake. I never go in the left lane at that light, because it alllways happens!
I am 100% with you. I drive on many different roads about 9-12hrs a week for work. The things I see on the road would blow your mind in an average week. But I am not paid by the hour so getting from job site to job site in a timely manner is crucial. I profile every car in those few seconds before I pick my fate at every light. But it’s always best to be first.
This is so true going down Main St in the village of Williamsville. I try and get into the right lane when I can…so much hate when I am in the left lane.
It’s a rough game… A lot of the time, the farthest right lane is the fastest, but then after the light every ones driving with 2 feet.
I really hate when everyone feels the need to be in the center lane or left lane when there is only one car in the right lane. This happens a shit ton on Genesse by the air port.
Or when people feel the need to immediately merge into the middle lane from on ramps to the thruway.
Don’t they teach anything in drivers ed anymore. It’s bad enough kids can’t tie their fucking shoes anymore. /rant
