Do your parents use facebook?

So recently, my parents decided to start using facebook and its driving me nuts. it seems that everytime i talk to them, they ask me about the people i talk to and the things they say.

ie. Mom: So whos this kelly girl who calls you boo?

I don’t know why it drives me so crazy, but i feel as if they are stalking me via facebook.

I’m going to have to cancel my friendship on facebook with my parents, I can’t believe its come to this…haha

So who else has this problem or is it just me?

oh and i know most of you will say facebook sucks, but i cant stand fucking myspace.

no, my parents have better things to do with their time. My mother Does stalk my little sisters just because shes a delinquent. oh well. (she just logs in using my sisters password)

lol i guess its just a little awkward for me. Im not a little kid anymore and they act as if they need to know everything that i do and who i talk to.

I would like to think they have better things to do, but i guess their generation as a whole has discovered it.

I am 21, although I get told that I’m way too mature for my age. i have always been told that. I guess having an older brother made me that way.

Both myself and my parents have more important things to do than maintain face book. Like NYSPEED DUH! But really facebook is meh.

well see with an ex, i wouldnt care. i would tell her off if she was stalking me. Tonight i kind of snapped at my dad when he asked me a question and now i feel like a dick.

What do i say to them without being harsh?

meh, sort of a delinquent. i just do what i want and really don’t hold back. haha considering my status said i was out getting loose on the goose and he asked me what that meant.

just remove them as ur friend, and then u have to do something with your networking but i dont quite remember

because im pretty sure if someone is in your network your profile is public

cant you make the profile private to certain people or some shit

i dunno my parents have lives and jobs

lol…well you can actually go into your privacy settings and restrict them from seeing any of that info…(ie. wall posts, friendships, etc.)

i thought i did. you can make it a limited profile, but they can still read certain things.

i only use facebook for networking with people i actually know

either way i would never add my parents to anything
