oh yeah: there are quite a few metro turbos running about, some are low-11 second cars. the suzuki swift had a “built” DOHC 4 and some other goodies that were an easy swap into the metros.

My friend had a '93 Tempo 2 door with a 3.0 v6 and a five speed. It was a surprisingly quick shit box and would spin the tires into 3rd gear. Not bad for $90.

When i first got my Dakota R/T and everything was completely stock, i went against a red 2 door R/T neon (possibly from thw West Senneca area, any1 kno him? anyone?) and i got beat like 4 or 5 cars. after i started doin stuff to my truck i ran into him again on the street and pulled him by like 1 car (with 2 of my ‘heavier’ friends in the truck). so i guess my point is mad props to the neon guys…the R/T ones can really haul if u put the time and money into them
