I didn’t call the 350z ugly. I just said a red convertible 350z is pretty similar in it’s “compensating” ability as that of the Viper. 
305z’s are ok, but they are slow. GTO>350z and the GTO has room for 4 people.

Yea i was trying not too comment. Besides anyone who actually likes cars for performance reasons would realize that the GTO in fact kicks ass.

There are a lot of people on this site that drive utter pieces of shit and talk down nice domestic cars that are far superior to their own cars in every respect, but different strokes for different folks. I think i would take a GTO over a 350Z or a civic/integra/e30 etc
joe, you’re a funny guy. in all srsns if the gto was named anything other than a gto, I wouldn’t hate it as much. I would still think it looked like a fugly bloated grand am. put it this way, its like if bmw called the new 1 series a 2002, I would cringe. then again, bmw doesn’t need to stoop to the level of reliving its history to sell their new fugly cars.

The gto is ugly. The only thing good about it is the engine.
The GTO would probably still be alive had they called it the G7. It would have fit in right between the G6 and G8. They called it a GTO, pissed off all the knuckledraggers who wanted it to look like some 60’s era square muscle car, and the rest is history.
o wait gtos have been discontinued? sorry I really don’t keep up with domestic cars. you would think naming it a gto would have been benefited gm’s sales, huh? then again, maybe some people are more concerned with overall drivability and fit and finish, rather than who’s car can go faster in a straight line
Have you ever even driven a GTO? The cars drive great and fit/finish is top notch.

When in reality it’s none of the 3. Hell, it’s not even a domestic car. When I was cross shopping before I got my GTO, the interior compared favorably to its main competitor, the G35 coupe.

jt, you mean its the best holden product you’ve ever been in? ok let’s think of it this way, and this is srsly the last post I’m going to make in this thread. so there is this pizza place in town, it has a long history of being a great place to get food, but over the last few years the place has really gone down hill. so you think to yourself, I used to really love that place! fuck it… i’ll give it another shot. you call up the place and put in an order. as soon as the order is taken, the pizza guy goes to another pizza place in another town and gets a pizza from them, bc they have delicious pizza, pizza far superior to the place you originally ordered from. he then puts the pizza from the other pizza place in a box from his pizzaria, and delivers you the pizza as his own. you eat it, and HOLY SHIT. its fucking delicious! the best pizza you’ve ever had. so the next week you decide to try something new from the menu, let’s say a steak sub and it fucking blows! it tastes like dirt! how pissed would you be and how low brow and lazy would a company have to be to badge something they had no part in doing as their own?? I know I know :deadhorse:
