-there isnt porosity. lol thats the cleaning action from welding AC. some fast pedal jump offs and crators at the last weld but nbd
-They are charge pipes, not high pressure vessle’s! 30psi they might see. Even the fuel rail i put money on would be fine if it didnt have pinholes and leak and would be fine to 70-90psi i bet. I dont know anyone who pressure tests his charge piping on a regular basis.
-Weld through primer was all I needed to read to know you dont know SHIT about welding and what your looking at from a process standpoint to have a valid opinion. They are aluminum parts, running AC to tig them… Goooooood luck tigging anything with weld-through primer, let alont in AC form what half of the electrical process will suck up the primer into the tungsten and immediately contaminate it… AND on the charge pipe they are bare aluminum, you answered your own retarded question if you looked at the pics. On the fuel rail, yes its anodized factory, which must be removed prior to welding, and the rattle can re-coat is dumb as fuck. but thats NOT what you are trying to argue.
and the steering kunckle I would put into my car and run for a life time, its not that compromised from what I can tell. its not like its a highly stressed item that would strip or snap or something crazy from a few MM’s of meat taken off the OUTER clamping edge.
Weld through primer. My favorite is people Tacking with MIG than trying to TIG over all of the tacks.

I want to try some weld through on an aluminum pipe tonight and post a pic back to that fucktard for lol’s.
Biiig ass mig tacks are dummmmb but with little tiny mig tacks you can flow them out usually and never know it was done, or grind the proud of the weld off the tack so its flush and skip a dab of filler when you come to them. Only on MS. Its not like ya bust a spool gun out for tacking charge pipes. lol and even with SS wire in a mig for SS pipe, your not usually pre and post flowing (i wish my mig had that feature) so the weld is somewhat contaminated. Will it ever fail drastically if it had 3 tiny tacks, nahhh. will ya see it stand out from the rest of the tig? maybe. its not like we are building rockets of for food service. but yah i know what your saying, big goober tack and nice tig welds marching up to and over it like troops on a mountain range! looool

With well known shops such as those I’m sure each company has good and bad things about them just like all shops. But when you’re known for handling cars that expensive and doing modifications on them, you can’t afford to mess anything up. Regardless of whether or not this whole situation is played out as the OP on that forum said, its going to hurt Forged because of all of the negativity…even in the past 48 hours or so.
