…heres the deal, i have a 93 240sx with 280 000 kms on it and a pretty much busted tranny, And the other this is the front driver/passanger frame rails are rusted and rotten…so the question here is what should the plan be…to go ahead with the engine swap i was planning on and then do the under body or is it important to have the underbody wealded and boxed in before i do the swap?
Do both. I’d say do the frame work first, just as a precaution.
strip your chassis down
clean it up
i garantee it is disgusting once you get it naked
fix it, paint it , seal it, build it for a successful car that you wont want to sell from headaches months later.
i rolled on a shit frame rail with a sr for about 2 weeks.
i know a shop that more then enough 240 guys on here have gotten work done for cheap and quality. 200 for a rail and floor pan.
if u wanna contact me i can get the info or you can just search my post’s i have posted his contact and address plenty of times, he is also a referred insurance place. quality work. and he is cool as fuck
