Man displays gun during “road rage” incident
Key Largo - A Key Largo man is behind bars today after threatening a family with a handgun during a “road rage” incident Friday night.
The victim, who is from Key Largo, was in his Honda Civic with his girlfriend and one year old son northbound at the 99 mile marker of the highway at 7:30 p.m. He told Deputy Vaughn O’Keefe a mini-van pulled out in front of him causing him to stop suddenly, and causing his car to stall. The suspect, 29 year old Derrick Bosworth of Key Largo, was behind the Honda in his Ford F150 truck. He had a boat in the back of the truck.
Bosworth began yelling at the victim; the victim in turn held his middle finger up at Bosworth. At that point, the victim said Bosworth pulled up beside his car and held up a handgun, pointing it at him and at his family.
The victim called the Sheriff’s Office, giving Sheriff’s dispatchers a description of Bosworth and the truck. Deputy Vaughn O’Keefe was in the area and pulled in to the median at the 101 mile marker to wait for the truck to pass. When the truck passed him, he pulled it over.
The victim stopped to give a statement and to positively identify Bosworth. A fully loaded Taurus revolver was found in Bosworth’s truck. Bosworth was arrested, charged with three counts of aggravated assault and he was taken to jail. His truck was seized for possible forfeiture.

Sometimes. If I’m stuck in the right lane and I see a right-turn blinker behind me I squeeze left and pull forward to give them room to squirt through. I’m an awesome person.
^+1 sometimes… I hate when it happens to me, but somehow don’t have a problem screwing other people.
I hate assholes who CLEARLY have enough room to move but make you wait till the light turns green. I move up and even cross the white line to let someone by as long as my nose isn’t in traffic.
Ever tow an enclosed trailer? suddenly you become the plauge and nobody wants to be behind you, doing whatever it takes to pass.
The one thing that NEVER FAILS to piss me off… Even if it doesn’t happen to me, and I just see it… Is when a fucking stupid fuck is merging on to the thruway or expressway behind a slow moving truck… Then proceeds to speed up switch left ONE lane, then slowly pass by the truck… forcing said truck to either brake or drive off the road. Obviously truck drivers are just assholes and speed up so slowly on purpose, so it’s cool to be a dick to them. The fact that they are carrying ~30 tons of goods and have 15 gears to shift on the way up to to interstate speed doesn’t factor in at all…
Truck drivers suck to the general public. Don’t like it? Find a new job.
I love when someone tries to do the right hand sneak pass me because I almost always block them in. My cars are faster then 90% of the cars on the road so this isn’t usually a problem.
If I am stuck in the right hand lane I always pull forward and to the left to left turners turn.
I’m always nice to truckers and will make room by slowing down traffic to let them in my lane.
I’m nice to truckers when they’re merging but I’m a dick to them when they’re trying to find an opening to pass. I’ll close that gap so they don’t have room to change into the passing lane and I’ll even tailgate the guy in front of me to encourage him to close the gap in front of him.
I’ve spent way too much time stuck behind a truck in the left lane going .000001 MPH faster than the truck in the right lane. If that’s honestly the best you can do to get faster and pass just stay the fuck behind him.
I do this and people always seem to appreciate it.
