Good price. Thats what i run. Id think go with the hoosier 275/40/17’s though. You’ll get more MPH and itll work for your gear ratio/power. My car stock i stayed in third with them and i had 2:82 gears. I was running 26" tall tires for a while. The 28’s may also not fit the well
well my car is a piece of shit so anything is possible but Ive spun them in 2nd gear
for 17’s I believe 50 series would be the stock sidewall cause my 18’s have 45’s… Wouldnt a 40 series on a 17 be too small?
Sidewall is measured in percentage of tire width, it’s not a static number.
Oh yeh your right I tottally forgot so a 275/45/17 would be equal to the sidewall width of a 245/50/17… if thats the case a 40/17 will still be a series smaller then the stock 50 series. Do I want to go smaller?
get as thick of a sidewall as ya can , no sidewall = no hook most of time . butttt with your gearing and any sticky tire ya should be fine though
Thanks for the help lol I guess there is always trial and error haha
I just really dont wanna shift into 4th… Im close now as it is
keep the same size tire circle then . measure your tire height now and see what your at , then keep it or go a tickle taller
For your car, I’d just do some 555R’s in a bit larger than stock tire. If your stock O/D is say 26.3" find a size that has a 27" O/D, which will keep you in 3rd. The nittos will hook fine for your car, and by the time you go to do substantial mods you’ll need a new set anyways.
…
Dot dot dot
AHhahaha
You drink a bottle of vodka, and a bottle of patron and tell me you aren’t gonna sleep on the ride home :lol
yesssssssssssssssssssssss
arright bro I’ll do the 555’s for now… They’re cheaper anyways
Hmmm Nitto’s come in these sizes 245/45/17, 275/40/17 dont think they’ll work that good and they’ll be smaller then stock. I believe a 245/50/17 or 275/45/17 would be nice…
Were those taken before or after the t bagging session?
Why the new rim and tire setup? So you have 3 sets now or sold your oem’s?
