Those were earlier in the season. However, i would imagine that most people would be more than happy to take you for a ride in their car and in yours and teach you some stuff. Guys like Wayne and Alex will help you out. They instructed the earlier DN events if i recall correctly.
The next DriftLords event might have the learning curve stuff (pun not intended) it shoud be sometime around Oct. 28th.
I would love to sit and take some notes… but what i dont want is for someone to teach me on public roads… not only cause its not safe… cause i woudl feel like crap if they got pulled over and got booked… that would suck!!
thats why i would want to do it at some sanctioned event… if i spin then i spin… whatever… its all in good fun.
Old Man Winter is totally forgiving, a snow bank is way nicer on your car than a pole… Though I live in Northern Ontario, where we have the “luxury” of 5’ snowbanks… And big, empty parking lots. Hell, I’ve seen COPS doing donuts in parkinglots here.
yes i agree, a lot of us subaru guys would change over to a thicker rear sway bar for the summer to give the car a more balanced feeling… but when come winter we could easily power over.
