Driftbox 60-130 MPH times

I had to ask too. All the guys posting times around the internet are doing flying starts.

The nice thing about the driftbox is when you pop the SD card in it just records everything. Then you can go back and pull out any data you want, whether it be 60-130 or whatever.

You can also view it in realtime if you’re in a car and can see the screen. In this case it was taped to the back of the bike.

If you dont mind id love to do it again on a weekend morning with no traffic. Or maybe at NYI to compare it to REAL 1/4 mile runs.

prove it. you need to actually bring the bike out for that to ever happen. :-p

BenchRacer

I enjoyed looking at the file and seeing EXACTLY where you were.

You rip from a stop like EVERYTIME bwuahhaha.

I barely ever really left a spot hard except when i got off the 190… and i came to a complete stop the one time. I bet the file is funny though lol. avg speed on the CLOSED COURSE musta been like 110. lol.

What an awesome toy.

Tested a WRX I tuned. 6.6 seconds 60-130.
It would have been quicker if the run was started sooner. It was spooling up until we got to 65 mph. There were two people in the car. We weighed it just prior to the run on a gravel scale at 3780 lbs with us in it. It has a full leather interior, system, tv, backup camera etc. etc. so it’s a bit heavy. 3 full gears were used to go 60-130 (3,4,5).

Driftbox 622 whp.

Worrrrrd… that makes me wanna get out and try this again with no traffic on a cool morning…

 to a fast car.

I live my life a quarter mile at a time, for those 10 second’s or less nothing else matter’s.

i wouldnt mind givin it a shot. Our times were close.

^^^ still got a bike?

Feel free to borrow mine Willy. I’ve been trying to get the M3 60-130 but i haven;t had the time, nor the place to do it :frowning:

5.1 0-60 though without launching it.

9.9 seconds
Innovative Tuning tuned STi on pump/meth with GT35R
3250 lbs as weighed today (normal weight for STi)
With flat shifting this would be better as there are 3 shifts.

7.5 seconds
Innovative Tuning tuned Supra with HKS TT kit 19ish psi on 93 pump gas
3420 lbs (actual weight)
SEVERELY traction limited

bump… i was just reminiscing about this day… :frowning:

Got to ride a new s1000rr this past weekend. It would destroy this guy’s times. Maybe one day he can take a crack at it with a new bike
