Okay, you know what… I have my g1 and i failed my g1 road test to g2 twice now, both times in brampton… I’ve had it up to here with brampton in general… REALLY HATING them… Okay first time I fail because some bimbo cuts me off and i was still going roughly about 60 km/h and I failed for not YIELDING THE RIGHT OF WAY. Well, okay thats the first time a bit upset no other x’s except parking Regardless I fail the first time. Im not to happy as stated so i go home reschedule the test. OCTOBER 27th comes around second time going, NO X’S WHAT SO EVER… FINAL TURN at an intersection before the drive test centre. and some fat white chick, freaking is in the right hand turning lane comeing out from the plaza, and its an only right hand turn lane… she begins creeping out to the right like shes going, and then since im already really in the middle of the intersection, i start to move because im like “OH SHES TURNING” so i start to go, then SHE DECIDES TO MOVE BACK INTO THE MIDDLE LANE AND GO STRAIGHT AND IM IN HER WAY… GOD DAMNIT! WTH MAN… Only X i had on that paper and the only thing that failed me. Apparently it was a dangerous move! wtf man, i swear to god i should have passed still. Then the lady is like YOU’RE AN AMAZING DRIVER, YOU HAVE COMPLETE CONTROL, BLAH BLAH BLAH, BUT I CANT PASS YOU BECAUSE OF… YIELDING YOUR RIGHT AWAY.
Im so mad. So now i have an appointment on nov. 13th at Burlington, any one think they can give me the LOW DOWN on that test area, what they make you do etc? speeds of the surronding roads, conditions etc. i’d rather know seeing i havn’t driven down there before.
Yea well for me i failed to Yield and failed both times. I mean come on. People Might make mistakes but that fat white chick … SHE CHANGED HER MIND LIKE LAST SECOND, and im still at fault…
Normally they’re not so anal about shit. Honestly, half the time they don’t even care. Go during times when theres not much traffic, like 10am to noon on a weekday. Then you don’t need to worry as much about other drivers and can focus on your own driving instead.
Well at burlington i got my appointment at 8:30am. I’m just hoping traffic isn’t completly anal, i know school starts around that time roughly so i can actually take the time to drive a bit slower. and tell the examiner to fuck off. Anyways, Regardless, i hear that Burlington and Oakville as well as guelph are the easiest drive test places. i dont believe that shit seeing how burlingtons is like right beside the 403 and the 407.
Word is Brampton/Burlington has nice people working. Aurora fails, didnt pass my g2-exit there. Went to victoria park, tester was mad chills, asked me to turn up the music, and when i complained about Aurora he just says, “its full of old bitter immigrants who come from countries where they grew up driving around smokey craters instead of traffic lights.”
i’d say book an appointment for like mid afternoon. To avoid other cars.
theres the problem mate i have my appointment at 8:30am at burlington. Im more worried about what conditions/speed limits are there. Because i havn’t driven down there. Im still pissed about that lady changing her mind, Why Me ? emo timez… the lady examining me said i was amazing until the turn.
If you’re a good driver then you won’t need any tips. But I’m nice so I’ll give you some tips.
When you’re with the examiner, don’t talk about the past 2 times you failed and try to put the blame on someone. It might make him/her look at you and judge you differently.
I got my G2 and my G in Burlington, the examiners were really nice and understanding.
8:30 am is NOT a good time at all, especially on a weekday. Rush hour traffic will continue untill slightly after 10.
I’d try to book one for 10:30 - 11am. Don’t do it during 12 - 1pm if you want to avoid the lunch rush.
2pm - 3:30pm sounds like a good time to book it too.
Good luck
And don’t do it in Oakville, it’s gay there. Burlington is probably the easiest.
To make you feel better, I’m Asian and I managed to get my G.
Mark is right, try and see if they have any other times that day. I hope it’s not a weekend, then traffic will suck either way. If they don’t have any other times well then… It shouldn’t be too bad early in the morning, most people are on the highway.
my g2 is expiring soon need to get my g. i failed it the first time , i did everything right but, there was a intersection with just stop signs on 1 side. i thought it was a 4 way stop sign cuz some ass stoped for no reason so he was stoped and i went . and got failed for that reason. like i waited for him to go for like a fews seconds but he as fully stoped. i passesd in brampton easily my instructer had his seat alll they way back i dont even think he was looking at the road. he was like alying down.
got my G2 in scarbrough, the instructor made me go down the street, do one U-turn, and then passed me. I doubt he was paying attention, because he gave me perfect marks on everything, and then randomly put “does not check mirrors” when i swear i looked at them all. anywho, dave, stop getting your balls in a bunch, and just foucus. If you have the test at 8:30am, do it, just drive slowly, and avoid other dumbasses on the street. They wont fail you for being cautious.
I guy I know faild his G1. He got 6 questions wrong. Still gave him his G1.
Then he ran through a RED. YES A RED! on his road test. Still gave it to him.
also dont be affraid to use ur horn and traffic is good u will be going slow the whole time ur always in the right lane so make sure if the examiner tells u to go striat get in the proper lane to do so ie right turn only lane
I didn’t pass on my first G2 test. On the first turn, yes the first as I was leaving the driver center (Scarborough btw). When I went to make the left turn the instructor told me to stop for a car that was near the intersection while I was in the middle of my turn. The rest was fine but just that 1 thing he was anal on. The instructor looked mexican.
I did all my driving tests in Burlington its so easy. The funniest shit was when I was waiting to do my g test some old guy hoped the curb trying to reverse park. The car was half on the side walk and the driving instuctor reached out and shut off. My instructor saw it as he was walking over to start my test and was shakin his head, with him seeing that I knew I was good.LOL
I took my g test at 9:30am and the roads were good so anytime after that would be key!
I sure if you take you time and keep your cool youll pass!
What would the other side of the story look like? Quite frankly im confident in our drivetest programs, probably to keep noobs from killing other drivers.
