No, I’m not, your lifestyle choice is that you would rather have a nice DD than drive a car on track or in a race environment. You could still have the same reliable transportation in a cheaper DD and have money left over.
My lifestyle choice is that I would rather spend more money racing than I would on A to B transportation (I still have that same G20). For me cars is about driving, not cruises, not picnics, not photo shoots, not meets, not owning the cleanest, rarest, swapiest. The ultimate form of driving is racing against other cars (or trees). Why more self proclaimed car enthusiast don’t make it to at the very least a track day beyond me.
IMO nice DDs are a waste of money, racing is also a waste of money. If I were smart I would take up tennis.
