Might finish the garage, or at least get the drywall hung. Ceiling is already done and hard coated. Any suggestions for what to do around the vertical tracks and torsion springs? Just drywall up to it as close as possible without interfering? Do they make any kind of trim to finish it off?
Pull them down, drywall and re-install?
I was afraid that might be the answer.
That would move the whole door inward the thickness of the drywall though, and throw off the position of the opener. Right?
Just sell your house and buy Ivals “remodeled” house
I’d pull the tracks and springs and then drywall.
Then trace out where the tracks and springs would recess into the drywall. Cut the drywall out and mount the tracks/springs. Then finish where you may have gaps and whatnot. Maybe even do like a 1/2 round trim piece or something.
