No, the mileage on the body is like 160k. Third gear was f*cked up so he swapped in one with 50k
bad axle shafts. ive had wierd issues and they usually ended up being an axle
well… if i do like a 200mph pull, it goes away, i went skiing and didnt have the problem the whole way back
wasnt the lugnuts… they were all pretty tight
so maybe it is just snow, i do need a new right side front axle… which seems to be the side wobbling
the car could prob use an alignment too

well… update lol
i was going over to the friends house on new years eve, pull off my street.
i hit maybe 7lbs in 1st, and like 5lbs in 2nd, go to shift into 3rd at like 2800rpms, and it like pops and 3rd gear disapears… nothing there at all.
so i’m like “WTF!” (it’s like the car is in neutral), so im like revving or whatever, pull over on a side street.
i back up, car goes in reverse fine, so im like whatever, i guess its ok.
so i pull back out onto clinton street, i dont hit boost in any gear, and i go to shift into 3rd again, and there’s nothing.
so i get to the intersection to turn and the car wont go into first, like… it goes into 1st, but it never “goes” into 1st, wont go into anygear, wont go into reverse… so i cant back up out of the intersection.
everyone is beeping at me, hates me, wants to kill me. even though i have my 4 ways on, im like halfway into 1 of the lanes on union. FUCKING GO AROUND ME JESUS CHRIST. After like 4 redlights, nice kids come over and help me push it out of the way
while stuck at the redlight i tried moving out of every gear, and nothing happened whatso ever
even if the shifter is in neutral, if i let off the clutch the car stalls
if i like 2step or whatever and try to launch out of a gear, it bogs and just stalls
so i dont know if the car is like stuck in gear, or shiftlinkage/fork/whatever broke
idk wtf happened. but it was a really shitty new years

oh well, now everything can be done at once and then i can put it in storage and start fabbing the turbo setup
ill see if gary can do the new bushings,axle,headgasket and tranny all at once so its ready for spring
i think if whatever the problem is here is fixed with the tranny, whether it be the linkage or something, it will be the cure… this car shouldnt have gone thru 3 trannys within the past 2 years, regardless if someone sucked at shifting

You gonna build up the tranny or do things backwards and get another stock tranny but add more HP to break it again faster?
it depends if it is actually something wrong with the tranny, and then ill go from there
