I have no problem with the unions that represent private industry. After all, in that case the market exists to reward (or punish) their activities. If they make excesive demands, I will buy their consequently overpriced product elsewhere, and so on. OTOH, public employee unions SUCK. I have no choice but to buy their “product”, they have the public over a barrell given their political influence and that they represent a “monopoly” which people are forced to deal with.
