Dunnville 2008 Track-Day schedule - SON240sx / NYSpeed

what a badass pic

Hey guys!

I know there are like 100 people on here that hold track days at Dunnville, but that’s only a small part of what we’ll be doing. If you don’t understand now, you will at some point down the road

That being said, the $400 for 7 track “sessions” (Work better for ya Dave? ) ends on the 1st of the year.

After that, the Friday evenings at Dunnville will be $60 and Saturday evenings will be $70.

If you’re interested, contact Bing or myself on the web forum (www.onyxsyndicate.com/forum)

Keep in mind, you’ll have to read and follow the ‘handbook’ that we’re working on right now that adds our own specific rules that you might not be used to if you’ve been to track sessions at Dunnville previously. (For example, all drivers and passengers MUST have helmets.)

These are badass pics

wheres the track for that first pic?

looks like an awesome track with nice runoff

josh you cheat with your HD camera!

they look like pics but i guarantee those are from videos ahahha

amazing regardless.

Haha I was gonna say that. Its easy to catch killer moments when you take 30 frames a second for hours up on hours of HD video.

My SLR only does 8fps.

:fnf2:

It’s TMP

lol, actually I think it’s a higher frame rate than that

This sounds sick i cant wait for more info to come through…was there an HD video of the last niagra cruise? …ive never seen it posted

as for the tracks sessions…will there be seprsate grip and drift times ? that would be awsome…

The following is a link to the rule book:

Ok I went over the rule book. Few sugestions:

  1. When the Yellow flag is out, is that a full-course yellow? If not where does yellow apply? turn on 4-ways? Passing should also NOT be allowed and there should be a recommended speed like 60kmh. I recall last year some hero in a Miata passing me under yellow without a point-by under yellow. I’m thrilled he knew where the danger was, I didn’t.

  2. Can we arrive at 3:30pm and start the drivers meeting at 3:35, then line up for tech by 3:50 instead? Not sure why over 30 mins of possible on-track time is cut into to do all that. If Dunnville doesn’t want us in the paddock, line up /park along the entry and we’ll get started and then move cars in after its cleared.

  3. Blue Flag in effect? Stress that faster cars (and some of those NY Speed cars are damn fast) are not held up by slower cars. Maybe something like if a faster car is highbeaming a slower car a flagger can pull the blue flag? Simple rule, check your mirrors often and if it is filled with the grille of a faster car move out-da-way. Its not a race at that point, if you would be able to pull away if you were. Or separate groups based on lap times.

Dave, join the forums and make suggestions like these there.

The guys who are consulting on the rule book etc. are not on SON.
