What are all the cool kids using for DVD ripping these days?

Still using convertXtoDvd never failed me yet.
The cool kids are downloading them in pre ripped formats. Back when I was, uh, backing up netflix I used dvdfab. Never met a dvd it couldn’t crack and the interface is stupid simple.
just reread this. your talking about dvd to dvd i use to use dvdfab. then i realized i could just get the Avi file and burn that
Wife has some exercise DVD’s she’d rather just stream than have to go change a DVD every time. (I put all the boxes in the basement since the TV is mounted above the fireplace.

So yeah, DVD to AVI.
Might be quicker to just torrent the movies. Most of the time with a decent connection you will have the movie in 10 min.
AnyDVD and Dvdfab
To convert to a stream able format, makemkv (this will not compress it) or Handbrake
I take actual rips using DVDFab on my media PC. Remove all the warnings and stuff and just grab the required stuff like menu, features, and movie itself.
