Meh- I watched a few of the Big Al videos, he doesn’t sound like a prick IMO. I probably wouldn’t mind him at a meet.
As for the negative press against Mike, I actually think it helps him. I don’t know Mike, but I’m going to bet he doesn’t have godlike powers. Let’s face it- shit goes wrong in the auto world. When all I hear is praise for someone never faulting- I figure something is being covered up. A few angry customers like superloud who point fingers and shit to show the negative side of car modding actually allows Mike to flex his knowledge and let people know what actually happened. Showing that knowledge makes me more comfortable taking my work to him for tuning and what not. Anyone who isn’t a complete tool is going to research their tuner before deciding to go to him, they are going to come across a lot of positive and a lot of knowledge when searching about Mike. Just my opinion.
Man you are one goofy fucker. Glad at the end of the day you are happy but I think you should act a LOT more adult in the situation between you and Mike. I mean other people have had minor issues with him before and I have always seen him stand behind his shop and reputation. I am about positive if there was ever a real issue with your car if you continued to deal with Mike it would have gotten sorted and he would take care of it. The real reason people do not like you and you didn’t get resolved with Mike is 100% your attitude and how you present yourself. Just thought I should share.
How old are you? Just looked it up. I am very surprised at how you present yourself given your age. Most men take more pride in their reputation then that.
Some of these are statements of opinion which are not actionable but others are statements of fact which he knows for a fact are not true. If any damage to Mike’s reputation is actually done there is plenty of evidence to back up a case
