A proper good quality shifter will not fuck up your transmission… I’ve never seen/heard of it… and yes you can only change that pivot so much as it changes the angle…
A cheap short shifter thats half assed can possibly screw up your transmission as the pivot could be to short on the bottom causing it to not engage properly…
None the less I never heard of B&M shifters screwing up KA trannys
So IMO the argument for the other side is poor…
