I’ve bought lots of stuff on eBay but never sold anything before. Those of you that are regular sellers… Do you cancel zero feedback bidders, attempt to contact them, just leave them be and hope for the best? Something else?
Well you dont ship until you get your $ so selling to someone with zero feeback shouldnt be a big deal
require instant payment with paypal for buy it now and check that you will only ship to the US, if someone with 0 feedback actually wins the auction and sketches out, you can always give a second chance offer. If its some nigerian bullshit then “Winning bidder requests shipping to a country I don’t ship to” is grounds for a free relist.
word
I just risk it. I’m not selling “high scam risk” items like laptops, ipods, etc. Zero feedback buyers have a higher rate of flaking out, but I’d be throwing away a lot of potential sales if I excluded them. I can still get my money back from eBay if they don’t pay.
And if you were selling an iPhone 3g?
Shoulda sold it last week before Bing Cashback died
Someone opened a case against me once, based on the item not being as described. (It was a damn text book in mint condition.) Paypal had my shipping info on file from when I bought the shipping through paypal, and somehow concluded that that was sufficient defense and sided with me.
Goofy bullshit paypal crap, but now I always buy the shipping through paypal in case someone tries to get something for nothing from me.
i dont. period, there are many other people out on ebay that will buy my stuff, i dont worry about 0 feedback folks.
i list with a template forbidding users with less than 0 or 0 feedback from bidding
I think it depends on what your selling.
