i’m not really all that into porsches… i do like aircooled and whatnot so its all considered… i doubt i’ll end up getting a turbo’d porsche… it was honestly that this particular one was found to be local and started at $51 lol… i threw down over 30k and am not really even to 1/2 the real price!!! lol… so it was more for fun and out of boredom than realistic car shopping.
i don’t want to be one of those dickheads that buys a 20 year old M3 just to say i have one… lol. older isn’t always better, especially for longevity and comfort (daily driver)
i hear ya… what sucks is that i went and test drove an 07 s4. the car is awesome… it’s just slow… some dude on my way to work frequently blows past me… 06 4.2 s4… we got lined up more than once and my junk 2002 1.8t with 120k miles BLEW past it… naturally the dude could drive like garbage, but i can’t have a slow car that is still $50k.
bics. i suppose luxury… i just want a new car that i can daily drive 90% of the time… something with power and something i’m not going to want to modify.
i’ve been told to look for the 1 series… i just don’t like bmw’s. the s5 is badass too. i should just man up and find an rs4… but then again there goes the pricetag.
Is the car you run into on your way to work a red S4 with tinted windows and exhaust on rt79? If so I know who it is and he is a pretty good/crazy driver.
Sonny-don’t settle on this one…I know it’s nice and local and is caged and twin turbo…blah blah blah…but if you seriously want a porsche like that they are frequently sold in the mid 60’s…ala
buy a 944 turbo. 50/50 weight distibution, and a good track/street car. let me do to it what im doing to the one at work now, have a dependable street/track car that you can go beat your co-workers with.
