Edmonton Paint Shops

Hey guys, I was wondering if you could post up places where you’ve had good experiences getting paint work done.

When I was putting my wheel back on after installing my header, a nicked my Brembo caliper, and Nissan in their infinite wisdom doesn’t make a paint stick for them. Which doesn’t really make any sense, since all Nissan/Infiniti cars with Brembos use the same paint.

Anyway, since I need to get the paint custom made, I was thinking about shooting my rear calipers to match. Then I started thinking about doing my engine cover to match the brembos (never seen anyone do it before, it’s a very cool metallic orange/bronze). Plus, I need to get the bucktooth painted and there are a few chips that I wouldn’t mind having done. Ericksen recommended Tri-star collision, but I was wondering if you know a better joint. Thanks!

That crappy bronze/gold color that the civics come in , i hear is a perfect match. Seriously.

TRI STAR is awsome, i had my pathfinder done there and i mean it was nice, you pay more but pretty good work

why get them painted when you can get them powdercoated. have you thought of that way.

Because the front calipers are already painted. Unless they can exactly match the color with the metallic flakes in it, powdercoating won’t work. Plus, the engine cover is plastic, and I don’t think you can powdercoat that.

Are you just doing that to increase your post count, you whore?

EDIT: Is this the color you’re talking about? http://tinyurl.com/6wut6
It’s the only one that looks bronze that I’ve been able to find for Civics so far.

EDIT#2: Here’s another one…the guy says it’s custom paint but I saw another Civic on eBay the same color: http://tinyurl.com/5edqd

Im pretty sure that is the color that the Freshalloy guys were talking about, they wanted to match the color to the R34 Brembos.

Hmm…I’ve been looking for the paint chips for that color online, but I haven’t found a site that carries it just yet. :frowning:

EDIT: Never mind! I went to freshalloy and searched…fancy that. The color is Honda’s Inca Pearl. So, thanks for posting about Fresh Alloy.
