chino,
Obviously my opinion must be wrong. Laptops are already portable enough. Do you really need some that small? Im sure the computing power of something that small isnt even as good as a laptop, which isnt even as good as a desktop. One of my hobbies is building extremely high end desktops. Therefore, for a computer to fit my needs, it needs power, not portability. But obviously my opinion was out of line. Im not ignorant enough to think that somebody, somewhere wont have one of these. They wouldnt make them otherwise. But they have to be extremely limited, especially for sub $400. Buy an ipod touch if you want internet/portability on the go. For those who travel alot it might be nice. but I dont…therefore.
GAY
internet on handheld devices like an ipod touch is likely just irritating
with this, im sure there will be a small amount of scrolling for webpages, but it will be much more readable
The average person barely even taps the potental of a modern computer. For business use this would be perfect:
-Inexpensive
-Portable
-Easy to network
-No extra space to store tons of porn/games.

yeah she would, i didnt read about it. 8g of memory. all flash memory too. i would break up with myself if i bought it :gtfo:
This thing is awesome. Ive been looking into getting one for a few weeks…
8gb SSD, 1gb ram, .3mp internal cam… I need to check out some EEE PC forums to see how much the little 900mhz chip can overclock to… hehehe…
All for $400?
I WANT!
eee pc with ubuntu and full compiz fusion
god I don’t want to see how bad it is with compiz fusion.
integrated graphics FTL
I’d stick to a 12" laptop… small and light enough. Just because it has a 7" screen doesn’t make it small, seems to be the size of a 10-12" laptop.
Not bad for being ultra cheap. I sure as hell would rather have this thing than some dell/hp/compaq cheap crap 15" laptop.
if I didn’t have dozens (serious) of laptops sitting around I would probably pick one up just to see what a laptop 1/10th the cost of my thinkpad buys. It could be a lot of fun

did you watch the video? It ran flawlessly. Oh and it weighs less than 2 lbs. and is practically pocket sized. Most 12 inch laptops that are ultra-portable, cost at least three times as much as this one. there is no other laptop that even compares to the convenience of this.
you truely are a stupid :noob:
Yeah I watched the vid. It runs pretty good for integrated graphics. I mean for $400 it’s good, and at that screen resolution it doesn’t take much.
The thing is very far from being pocket sized though… even if it was 1/4 the volume it would still not be pocket sized.
Did you not see the pics on the link you posted (the .hu link) where they show it next to a very large HTC phone?
yeah, obviously this will not be pocket sized, not even a 7 inch screen alone could fit in one of my pockets
