EFI harnesses

They aren’t actually all the same, they differ depending on optons. ABS, AC, Cruise and auto all make for differences in the EFI harness. If you don’t care about these options tehy should all work just fine… although you might have to change some plugs.

I have to disagree with that one Martin all those things you listed are run
independent from the EFI harness. The EFI harness is the harness
connected to the ECU. So if the ECU’s didn’t change from 1991 - 1993
weather you had ABS, A/C, Hicas etc then the harness shouldn’t have changed.

Since the thread in buy/sell was locked, I moved this here…

You can disagree all you want, but they are different!

  • The idle up when AC is on is controlled by the ECU (FIDC or something like that). Non AC car may not have this wiring .

  • The ABS sensor plug for the right front wheel is integrated into the EFI harness and goes through the dash plug (F1)

  • The cruise control wiring is integrated into this harness and plugs into the cruise unit by the wiper motor, other end is under dash above ECU.

  • Auto EFI harness has a different plug for the TPS, because the TPS is different. ( I believe there are other differences).

  • HICAS has nothing to do with the EFI harness… you added that

The ECU’s may be the same, but that doesn’t mean the harnesses are.

BTW… these aren’t the only differences, just the ones I remember, I’m pretty sure there are more.

Awesome work man thanks for the info! :thumleft:
