how would one go about installing an electric fan without buying a thermostat or using a cheap switch?
is there any way to wire it in to factory or somthing??
id like to avoid buying a 60$ adjstable thermostat!
it would be nice of the fan could come on when the engines says to!
Adjustable thermostats are $35 and i Relay is like $5. If you cant afford that then you could just get a relay and trigger it by a power source that is only on when the engine is on.
wire it to an ignition source
Its better to use a Relay and use the fuel pump to trigger when the fans are on. Fans draw alot of current and you wouldnt want to fry something.
Suck it up and buy the thermostat
its well worth it for piece of mind
